For information on Baptisms and Weddings at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, please contact the church office to make an appointment with Father Timothy and so we can send you an information packet. A few things to be aware of:

 

For Baptisms:

 

• The sponsor needs to be an Orthodox Christian in good standing, and his/her good standing needs to be approved by the priest prior to the scheduling of the sacrament. If you have any questions, please contact Father Timothy, and he will be happy to help in whatever way he can.
• Some time is necessary in between the request for a baptism and the actual date in order to prepare the paperwork and to have some time for Father Timothy to meet with the family and the koumbaro (koumbara). Please try to schedule any baptisms at least a month in advance. 

 

 

 

For Weddings:

 

• All weddings will need to be scheduled through the Church before any date is finalized. Please contact the church office to check on a date and so we can send you the wedding forms.
• Please be aware that prospective couples are expected to attend marriage classes. For more details, please contact Father Timothy.
